We are looking for players of all standards for the forthcoming season – from serious 1xi and Reserves standard down to the titanic battles between our 7th and 8th teams, we can find a standard of football to suit your needs!
About The Club:
All teams play in the Southern Amateur League, which at First XI standard, is pretty much the best standard of football you can play without being paid for it. We have 8 sides plus veterans, so we can pretty much guarantee a football to all levels of ability. We are based in the grounds of Alexandra Palace; we have our own Clubhouse and facilities. Now is an exciting time to be joining the club, as we are just about to embark on a project which will see around £500,000 spent on our pitches and facilities, which will see us up there with some of the best facilities in the area. While this work is going ahead we have secured some excellent pitches to play on, with the clubhouse facilities (and bar!) very much still open!
What to Expect:
We are an Amateur Club – this means that you WILL NOT be paid to play – in fact, you will in fact have to pay to play. There is a club subscription and a match fee of £8 per game, although there are discounts available for Students and Unemployed. For this you will have training from UEFA qualified coaches and the opportunity to play at a level that befits your ability. We are also an extremely social club, where members of the different teams mix freely – no cliques!
Still Interested?
We want to hear from anyone who wants a game – you do not have to be much good, just love footy. Of course, if you are an ex Semi-Pro Player or an Ex-Uni footballer, we should be able to find a spot for you in the First or Reserve team (these teams are generally made up of such types). We would also particularly be interested in hearing from Keepers – a good keeper is worth their weight in gold!
